Improvement of surfaces functionality is a desire in most industrial application. Improvement of the surface gives a large range of advantages to the final product, often without changing the core structure and thereby the core production method.
Amphidex introduces a new and easy method for surface functionalization, while still retaining a green image.  Amphidex’s product is solely based on biodegradable, bio renewable and non-toxic compounds.

 
Almost all surfaces are susceptible to coating with our new patented coating technology. The surface functionalization is very easy and no additional production equipment is needed in order to obtain the surface coating. The application of the amphiphilic cyclodextrins can be done with almost any setup as long as it is possible to apply a liquid to the surface.

Amphiphilic cyclodextrins retains the special ability of cyclodextrins to take up specific compounds, the so-called ‘guest’, in the cavity of the cyclodextrin and/or release compounds. These guests can vary from unwanted malodours and water impurities to perfume and medicine.
